THE FINAL CONFERENCE IN CHIOGGIA ON 13 MARCH
The closing event of “BLUE COAST AGREEMENTS 2030” will take place on Monday 13 March at 3.30 pm, in the Aula Magna of Palazzo Grassi in Chioggia. After almost a year of intense activity, this Inter-territorial Cooperation Project between eleven FLAGs (Fisheries Local Action Group) belonging to seven Italian Regions comes to an end. Through workshops, discussion tables, training activities for employees and educational activities with young people and school world, the project has led the coastal territories interested in adopting the ONU AGENDA 2030 and planning its “put into practice” through the sharing of strategic guidelines and pilot actions in the traditional and emerging sectors of the Blue Economy, for the sustainable development of coastal zones of partnership.
The event will be attended by Luca De Carlo, President of the Fishing Commission in the Senate of the Italian Republic and Cristiano Corazzari, Councilor for Fishing of the Veneto Region.
The institutional and technical representatives of the Veneto Region and MIPAAF, of the Scientific Technical Committee of the Project, the FLAG GAC Chioggia Delta del Po, who as proponent and lead partner will illustrate the phases and activities of the project, the FLAG partners and other stakeholders will also intervene of public and private interest relating to the world of fishing and aquaculture.
